My nephew needed to bring a game to school that represented his culture. The only Ludo board at home was our old, beat-up cardboard one — the survivor of every family game night, cousin argument, and chai spill. Great for memories… not great for show-and-tell.
When I went online to buy a nicer one, nothing felt right. Most boards were too small, the layouts weren’t accurate to what we grew up with, and the overall design just didn’t look good enough to display.
As a designer, that’s when it naturally turned into a personal project. At first, I just wanted something clean and modern for my own home — a board that actually looked good sitting next to the rest of my games. But once I started, I kept refining it. One prototype became another, then another. The materials got better, the finish got better, the whole experience kept leveling up.
What started as a small personal project became something worth sharing — a board rooted in culture, built with intention, and designed for anyone who grew up the way we did.
Just Culture.
Just Design.
Built with Intention.
